The population of the USA includes a majority of citizens that have their origin in Europe (70 %): minorities are Latin-American citizens (12 %) and Asiatic citizens (4 %).

The mix of different cultures and different origins gave the USA the name “melting pot” but there are still lots of immigrants that keep on their own traditions and behaviour as a symbol for their personal identity.
