Travel Guide, South Korea

South Korea is a country with many names: In English it is officially called Republic of Korea, in Korean it is "Daehan Minguk" (Great Han Republic) but generally the locals rather say Hanguk or Namhan (South Han) to seperate it from Bukhan (North Han). In North Korea they say Nam-Chosŏn (South Joseon) to also keep it seperated from their part of the country which they refer to as Puk-Chosŏn (North Joseon).
