Travel Guide, Rwanda

In despite of the devastating genocide that took place here only a little more than a decade ago, first impressions of the nation leave travellers with little evidence of it and tourism in Rwanda is beginning to pick up again. With its lush mountains and the chance to catch a glimpse of the endangered silverback gorillas, world renouned coffee, and rich culture Rwanda has a lot to offer. The developing tourism industry means that it still has flaws but its natural beauty and welcoming attitude overcome this. But mostly, no one leaves Rwanda without a small lesson in strength and tolerance.
