Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country in the middle of Central Asia. Main tourist attractions are the Issyk-Kul lake - one of the world’s largest and deepest mountain salt-water lakes, tracking, hiking, horse-back riding, rafting and visiting ancient architectural sites. Climate in Kyrgyzstan is arid, with cold winters and hot summers. The best time to visit in from April to September. People in Kyrgyzstan are traditionally hospitable, multi-cultural and tolerant, although poverty and corruption are taking their toll. Kyrgyzstan is picturesque and mostly unknown to the world.
