JEATH war museum, Kanchanaburi

The JEATH war museum in Kanchanaburi tells the story of the prisoners of war who were forced to build the so-called ‘Death railway’ between Thailand and Burma. Built to resemble a prisoner’s hut, the museum, though a little scruffy offers a moving insight into the horrific conditions in which they lived and worked.
