Travel Guide, Jasper
Jasper is a slightly off the beaten path resort community in Jasper National Park. The townsite is built above the azure blue Athabasca River while sitting below the picturesque peaks of Pyramid, Tekarra, and Edith Cavell mountains. Summer the best time to visit as the temperature soars making camping, hiking, canoeing postcard-perfect. Winter is dominated by skiing at nearby Marmot Basin while ice hockey, cross-country skiing, and snow-shoeing are popular.
