Travel Guide, Hoi An

You will almost forget the friendly city of Hoi An has lots more to offer than shopping and have your clothes tailored here. The UNESCO added the ancient city to their World Heritage List in 1999. In the 1st century it used to be the biggest trading port in South-East Asia. As the city has been influenced by Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and Indian traders settling down in the 16th and 17th century, it offers its visitors a unique combination of Vietnamese and foreign heritage.
