When to go to Europe
Different destinations in Europe have different ideal times to go there.
1. Mountains and skiing
If you want to go skiing in the mountains of France, Switzerland and Austria (and also Germany, Italy and Slowakia) then the best time to go there is February till April.
2. Beaches
From May till September is the best time to go to the beaches of Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Croatia and Greece. In July and August it is packed with tourists though, so if you'd like to avoid that, it is better to go before July or after August.
3. Cities & culture
Cities can be visited throughout the whole year. However, in the south it can be very hot in July and August and in the north it can be very cold from November till February.
