Transport in Europe
There are several ways of transporting yourself within Europe. You can do this by airplane, train, bus, taxi, car, bicycle, motorbike and/or boat.
Cheap airline tickets make it attractive to use the plane - especially for distances over 1000 km.
For the train there is something called "interrail" - which is the only interesting way to travel through many European countries at affordable costs, especially for young people there are several different passes. Otherwise the train is expensive.
Buses are cheap - and private. The best way is to check their offers locally.
Taxi is only affordable for short distances up to 10 or 20 km, or within a city. In nearly all European countries there are meter taxis, so there is a fixed price per kilometer.
