Ethnic groups and communities in Europe
Many different ethnic minoritis are living in especially western European countries. In the 60's and 70's countries like The Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany and France had a high growth in industrialisation but the local people didn't want to do those jobs. That's why these countries asked people from Maroc, Turkey, Algeria and Tunesia to do it. Many people from these countries came to western Europe and settled there with their families. These ethnic groups are still living in these countries and give these countries a multicultural face.
Besides this, countries like France, The Netherlands and England had colonies in the past. People from these colonies currently are living in European countries as well.
Since a few years countries in eastern Europe like Poland, Tjech Republic and Slowakia are EU members and people from these countries are moving to other countries in Europe.
So, especially western Europe is a multicultural society with white people, black people and Arabic people all living together.
