What are Karma Points?
Karma points reflect your contributions to the community and the trust you hold within it.
Currently you get Karma points for making high quality contributions to the travel guide which others can add upon or help improve. In the future, they will also reflect the community's feedback on your articles.
As you contribute and gain more trust within the community, you will progress through the following levels, gaining recognition and influence:

You get Karma Points for the following actions*:
| Registering and filling out a basic profile | 10 |
| Be the first to write a "First Impressions" article | 9 |
| Be the first to write a general category article | 5 |
| Be the first to add a "Place" | 5 |
| Be the first to add a City | 1 |
| Edit or improve an article or Place | 1 |
| Correct the location of a Place on the map | 1 |
